What brought you into enduraLAB in the first place? I first joined the LAB in April 2012. I was invited by some current and former members to meet them for a 6:00 AM run, and that is when I first met Coach Lee. At that time the gym was on 7th Street sandwiched between a bank and a tanning salon. We started out each morning with a “Nebraska run warmup.” In 2012, I had the opportunity to run with some really good people, and make some friends. I’m taking about you Mo, Lee Long, Paul, KayDee, Jennifer, Crockett, Travis, Cody, Brian, Cami, Jay, and really the list goes on…
How did you exercise before enduraLAB? Its almost eight years since I first joined the LAB. I have run >20 half marathon’s and 2 full marathons, most of which I completed before I joined the LAB. I love running, but I really love what Coach Lee is doing at the LAB.
What healthy changes have you made since starting enduraLAB? Mostly diet related, this was not something I paid much attention to in the past.
Tell us what you do outside of the LAB? CEO of small Oil and Gas company.
How have you grown as an athlete since joining the LAB? This will take a bit of thought, but in short, I wish I had enduraLAB in my life in high school and college. This is a transformational gym!
What is a goal you have set for yourself in the next 6 months? The next year? My goals are simple. I want to be healthy and fit.
What is your favorite enduraLAB event? I like all the challenges. In fact, I’m currently participating in the 28-Day Challenge.
What advice would you have for a new person starting at enduraLAB? Go your own pace and be careful not to try and compete against other members.
