What brought you into enduraLAB in the first place? I moved to Fort Worth in October and was looking to get in shape and make new friends here. I’d heard about the LAB from my friend Lauren Miller and she convinced me to give it a try. So glad I did, it wasn’t like anything I’d done before, and I really love the community.
How did you workout before joining the LAB? Lots of spin classes with the occasional Pilates class.
What healthy changes have you made since joining? I drink a lot more water and am more consistent with my workouts.
Tell us what you do outside of the LAB? I’m a wholesale fuel marketer for the Pilot Company.
How have you grown as an athlete since joining the LAB? I’m a lot stronger than I’ve ever been. Running is my least favorite and I’ve gotten slightly better at my endurance.
What is a goal you have set for yourself in the next 6 months? To incorporate the nutrition portion better into my life and to learn to not hate burpees and running so much!
What is your favorite enduraLAB workout? Strength has been my favorite because I’m so new to those types of workouts. I learn something new every class.
What have you learned about yourself over this past month? A lot of the tough stuff really is mind over matter, and I’ve learned I love rucking!
What advice would you have for a new person starting at enduraLAB? Go all in. Go to as many classes as you can, participate in the events, don’t be afraid to ask questions.
Favorite cheat meal/restaurant in D/FW? Rodeo Goat.
Current read / podcast? Reading American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins and Valentine by Elizabeth Wetmore + listening to Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.
