Kelly Lancarte is our female Member of the Month for October. She instantly fell in love with the LAB and can’t say enough about the community and the talented coaching staff. We love Kelly because she fills the room with her bright smile and loads of personality. We also admire her dedication and hard work; she never gives less than 100 percent. Kelly’s advice to anyone thinking about joining the LAB is to just do it! Her goals are to keep getting better and stronger with each workout. We have no doubt that Kelly will succeed at her goals both inside and outside of the LAB.
What was your first impression? How has that changed? My first impression of the LAB was love at first sight! Honestly, it was such immediate feeling of true community. I have so much love and respect for the incredibly talented team of coaches. EnduraLAB is the best way to start my day.
What are your current goals at the LAB? My goals are to be better and stronger than I was the day before, the week before and the month before!
What’s your favorite enduraLAB memory? My favorite memory of training at the LAB would be training with my Dad, Lanny Lancarte. I went in thinking I was going to have a low-key workout with he and Coach Hargrave. I was quickly aware that I was training in Beast Mode with those two! It was the greatest! Although, I think I was sore for a week.
What advice do you have for anyone thinking about starting at enduraLAB? My advice for anyone thinking about starting at the enduraLAB would be to just do it. Don’t overthink jumping in with both feet. Just get in there and start the process of being your strongest and healthiest self. It is the best gift you can give yourself!
What is your favorite movement/lift? Least favorite? My favorite would be a toss-up between slam balls and deadlifts. My least favorite has to be lunges!
Favorite restaurant/bar in Fort Worth? Righteous Foods of course! I cannot go more than a day without my Righteous Foods fix of the Ghost of Green Lantern and their amazing Kale Salad!
Favorite midnight snack? Apple with almond butter, but my guilty pleasure is coconut yogurt or salted caramel chocolate!
Our October male Member of the Month is Stoffer Bjorklund. His relationship with enduraLAB began at a Texas Rangers game where he met Cami, his now fiancé. Stoffer’s favorite lift is the deadlift; his least favorite are thrusters. The annual Run to the Christmas Tree is Stoffer’s favorite event, and his advice for newbies is simple—come in and get your butt kicked. You won’t regret it! All of us at enduraLAB wish Stoffer and Cami a long and happy life together. We are always so excited to see both of you working hard to stay healthy and strong together.
What brought you to enduraLAB in the first place? My brother Jay invited me to a Texas Rangers game with the enduraLAB crew. He told me that there was a cute girl named Cami going, and she was single. I met Cami and now we are getting married this month! I credit Cami and Jay for getting me back into the gym and on the right track to being healthy again.
What was your first impression? How has that changed? I thought these people are crazy and immediately got my butt kicked at the gym.
