Born and raised in San Antonio, TX. Graduated from Central Catholic High School. After High School, Mark went on to Texas Tech where he finished with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Sciences. Mark then took a job as a PE teacher in Brownfield, TX where he worked for 2 years. He has been in Fort Worth for 7 years, is now Head Boys' Basketball Coach at North Side High School at FWISD, and has been at the LAB ever since! Mark is married to his beautiful wife Lauren Alvarado and they are expecting their first child!
My passion has always been to live a healthy lifestyle. Growing up I lost multiple family members to preventable diseases. I told myself that I will do what I can to prevent myself and others from suffering the same way.
