What brought you to enduraLAB?

One of my coworkers suggested EnduraLab and signed me up for a Buds n Suds one Sunday. I loved the encouraging atmosphere and the challenging workouts, so two days later I signed up for the gym!

What did your workout routine look like before joining the LAB?

I did some light lifting, with upper and lower body days. I also did short-medium distance runs with an occasional 5k or 10k race

What healthy changes have you made since joining the LAB?

I now do more on the recovery end, especially foam rolling which I didn’t do before but it has made such a difference in my fitness!

Tell us what you do outside of the LAB?

Outside of the LAB, I like spending time exploring the DFW area and discovering new coffee shops as I only moved here a few months ago! Also when I get the chance, I enjoy being outside and going either swimming or fishing when I get the chance!

How have you grown as an athlete since joining the LAB? Brag a little.

Since joining the lab, I’ve been able to lift more than I ever have and my form in my lifts has improved a ton!  I also can now do two pull-ups which is something I’ve never been able to do!

What is a goal you have set for yourself in the next 6 months?

I want to be able to do 8 pull-ups by next June and increase my bench press by 10%!

What is your favorite enduraLAB event or program?

My favorite event was Night of the Living Deadlift on the Thursday before Halloween! The costumes, PR’s and snacks made for a really fun night that I look forward to next October!!

What advice would you have for a new person starting at enduraLAB?

Don’t be intimidated by the weights other people are lifting, focus on your own progress!! Also, don’t be shy! Everyone is super inviting and it’s a great community to be a part of!

Favorite cheat meal/restaurant in D/FW?

Creamistry’s vanilla ice cream with peanut butter and biscoff cookies on top (it sounds weird but I promise it’s amazing!)
