Bodyweight training can lead to impressive levels of strength, proprioception and control. It's convenience is unmatched as it can be done virtually anywhere with minimal equipment and minimal space. While we believe traditional strength training is needed for absolute strength, it can enhance performance in the gym and is a great tool for injury prevention.
Elements covered in the clinic include:
- Bodyweight movements, progressions and repetitions.
- Modifications - when and how to apply partial movement, negatives and statics.
- Working bilateral, transitional and unilateral sequences.
- Handout with 20 bodyweight workouts for travel or home.
The clinic is scheduled for 3 hours and includes lecture, workouts and individualized coaching on all movements, with skills and drills you can utilize to help you reach your goals. Participants will need to dress in athletic clothing appropriate for workouts and bring any drinks or snacks necessary.
