4-Week Power Cycle

We kick off our 4-week Power Cycle on June 11. This cycle is designed to build explosive strength and increase coordination. We are asking that you go ahead and come into the LAB 5-10 minutes before the workout to knock out your cardio. Here is what you can expect each week:

  • Monday: Strength/Power Hybrid
  • Tuesday: Cardiovascular Power Workout
  • Wednesday: Power Clean, Squats and Overhead Work
  • Thursday: Strength Endurance with an Upper Body Focus
  • Friday: Power Snatch and Hinge Work
  • Saturday: Team Workout

This 45-minute cardiovascular-based conditioning Specialty Program coached by Lee Hargrave incorporates bodyweight movements and our state of the art cardio equipment including Woodway Curve treadmills, Concept 2 SkiErgs, Concept 2 Rowers, Concept 2 BikeErgs and VersaClimbers. This class is great for fat loss and improved endurance for all levels. Space is limited.

The deadlift is the ultimate test of strength. Challenging the legs, back, core and grip, the deadlift can be as brutal as it is simple. For our 6-Week Project Deadlift semi-private training program, we’re looking for 12-16 people who are 100% ready to commit to deadlift mastery AND encourage others on the same path.

Whether you’re new to the deadlift or a seasoned athlete trying to break through a plateau, this program is designed to add weight to the bar. Get ready to chalk up, grab the bar and lift some heavy weights!

Commemorate the mission that resulted in the ultimate sacrifice of 19 Special Operations Forces, including U.S. Navy SEAL LT Michael Murphy, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. Participants are requested to present a brief bio, with laminated photo, on one of the service members lost during Red Wings or Red Wings II. Several of our SEAL Cadre served with the members of Operation Red Wings. Expect a history lesson and a timeline re-enactment of the mission described in Lone Survivor. 20% of each registration fee will be donated to the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Bodyweight Clinic with Coach Lee

Bodyweight training can lead to impressive levels of strength, muscle sense and control. While we believe traditional strength training is needed for absolute strength, bodyweight training can enhance performance and is a great tool to use during those upcoming summer vacations! 

Elements covered in the clinic include: 

  • Bodyweight movements, scaling progressions and repetitions/sets.
  • Modifications - when and how to apply partial movement, negatives and static holds.
  • Working bilateral, transitional and unilateral sequences.
  • Handout with 20+ bodyweight workouts for travel or home.

Participants will need to dress in athletic clothing appropriate for workouts and bring any drinks or snacks necessary (except for coffee...we’ll provide that magical elixir).

Cost: $20

enduraLAB / Martin House Beer Olympics

Join us at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 for the first ever enduraLAB / Martin House Beer Olympics! The brewery will open up an hour early for the festivities, which will include the following games:

  • Beer Mile
  • Keg lifting (Atlas stone style)
  • Overhead Keg Press x Burpee combo
  • Keg toss

We will have a prize for the top 2 male and female winners in each game and then an overall prize for the best in all categories. Prizes will be a mix of Martin House Beer/Swag and enduraLAB gear.

Tickets are $10 if you'd like to participate in the Beer Olympics. That will cover your entry for each game as well as the beer consumed during the beer mile. Tickets are $20 if you'd like to participate in the Beer Olympics and includes a Martin House Brewing pint glass and 3 house beers. 

This event is open to the public. So even if you aren't participating, you can still come out to the brewery at 1:00 p.m., pay the $10 for your 3 beers and enjoy the show. You can purchase that ticket online or pay at the door.

Since it is St. Patrick's Day, there will be green beer on tap. You are also invited to bring your chairs so you can enjoy the back lawn. King Street's Grill food truck on site as well.

Martin House will be open until 5:00 p.m.  The Beer Olympics will kick off promptly at 1:00 and last approximately an hour.

Concept2 World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints

Concept2 World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints

The World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints are an initiative between Concept2 and World Rowing. The Sprints are a virtual indoor rowing championships modeled after the successful SkiErg World Sprints. 

The Details: 

  • Race 1,000 meters on the Concept2 Indoor Rower at enduraLAB between March 8-10, 2018.
  • Have your time recorded by an enduraLAB team member. 
  • Results will be collected and submitted to Concept2 on Sunday, March 11.
  • Results should be posted on the Concept2 website by March 14. We will keep you updated.

This virtual 1,000 meter timed event will be part of the eL FIT and S+C workouts on Thursday, March 8. A coach will be on hand to record times for submission to Concept2.

Unlimited members are welcome to complete their row during Open Gym on Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday. Please see an enduraLAB team member for assistance.

All recorded times must be completed by Saturday, March 10. No late submissions will be accepted.

Details: GORUCK Constellation is a scenario- driven event led by GORUCK’s Special Forces Cadre, all experts in urban survival. You and your small cell will move through a series of tasks and checkpoints–, the stars that form the constellations in the urban terrain. You’ll learn how to prepare and plan for chaos and how to connect the dots of your city, on the move. The goal, of course, is to sharpen your mind into the greatest weapon you have.
