What brought you to enduraLAB? It took a year of my sister, Ambar, trying to convince me, but I also wanted to try something new.
What did your workout routine look like before joining the LAB? I would do some weight training, some running and yoga. But I wasn’t following a solid plan.
What healthy changes have you made since joining the LAB? I have a much better relationship with food. I fuel for performance not just for weight loss. I’m an all around more active person.
Tell us what you do outside of the LAB? With being a master stylist/educator at my salon Lemongrass and having 2 young daughters. My schedule is pretty full but I like to try a new local restaurant any chance I get.
How have you grown as an athlete since joining the LAB? Brag a little. Even though I struggle with this the most, my strength has improved so much. I also run a lot more than I ever thought I could. I’m honestly just feeling like an overall more athletic person.
What is a goal you have set for yourself in the next 6 months? My goal is to do more of the RX workouts. Finally get at least one pull up. I also work on my speed and distance when it comes to running.
What is your favorite enduraLAB event or program? Does mobility count?! I probably do every single mobility video that they put out. Definitely a favorite. I haven’t done any of the events ... yet.
What advice would you have for a new person starting at enduraLAB? Do every single work out. Even if that day is going to suck. You’ll end up surprising yourself.
Favorite cheat meal/restaurant in D/FW? Omg I can’t choose. Maharaja Indian restaurant, their lunch buffet, Tokyo Cafe has the best sushi and Piattello never disappoints.
