What brought you to enduraLAB in the first place?
I met some awesome people (including the amazing Margaret Hodges) that were already members through mutual friends. They told me about their experience at enduraLAB, and I knew that I had to try it! It happened at the perfect time because I was looking to change up my workout routine.

What was your first impression? How has that changed?
Loved the atmosphere and most of the coaches. Finding motivating and attentive coaches was really important to me. I am still loving the workouts. They are even more fun now that I've gotten to know more of the members and coaches.

What was your first breakthrough moment?
I think I have a breakthrough moment after every workout. Seeing the workout at the beginning of class can be intimidating, and I often wonder how I'm going to get through it. I love the feeling of accomplishment I get after every workout.

What are you working on now?
I'm trying to focus more on my nutrition so I can improve my energy and performance during workouts. I also want to be able to do some unassisted pull-ups.

What’s your favorite enduraLAB memory?
The first time I experienced a dance party while Coach Staci was coaching a workout.

Which do you prefer: Dogs or Cats?
Neither, but I have a soul. I promise.

Favorite candy?
Anything with chocolate.

Favorite Fort Worth restaurant?
Pacific Table

Where did you go to college?
Texas A&M University. Whoop!

What brought you to enduraLAB in the first place?
I had been working out at a local crossfit and injured my shoulder. I began using the Cryospa  while waiting to get an MRI hoping that would heal it. When the results came back w a torn labrum and recommended surgery and physical therapy, I began looking at other options. One of the cryospa girls suggested I go and speak w Lee at Enduralab. I went the next day, talked w him for a bit , and he put me on the road to recovery w modified workouts. I never ended up having surgery and I never looked back.

What was your first impression? How has that changed?
I liked how laid back it was. It wasn't so competitive like other gyms I had been to. They really focused more on form and constructive criticism as opposed to getting through the workout as fast as possible.  The coaches were knowledgeable and didn't mind giving you that extra push on days when you need it most.

What was your first breakthrough moment?
Either When I got my first and only sub 1:30 (1:29.8) 500m time trial or when I deadlifted over 400 lbs my first time.

What are you working on now?
My overall health. I have cut alcohol completely out of my diet since Easter along w eating clean 6 days out of the week. I have seen overall leaps and bounds w new baselines and stamina.

What’s your favorite enduraLAB memory?
I would have to say I, along w my wife, really enjoy the Christmas tree run.  We have done it 3 years now and we look forward to it every year.

Which do you prefer: Dogs or Cats?
Dogs. We have 3 Westies that take up most  of our time and our savings. Though the dogs won't allow us to have a cat, my new "nephew" Boston in the other Bjorklund household is a lot of fun when we get to see him.

Favorite candy?
Hot Tamales

Favorite Fort Worth restaurant?
Del Frisco's

Where did you go to college?
University of Texas at Arlington

Favorite club?
The Casa de la Hargrave when Lee is center stage with a banana hammock, a Viking helmet, and a turkey leg in one hand. I'm just kidding, I don't like turkey.
