Alissa Davis is one of our October Members of the Month, and we could not be more proud of her accomplishments. Every day she trains with an objective: to improve strength. She's already overcome her fear of jumping on the 20/24-inch big box, and she looks forward to being able to pull ups without the band.

What brought you to enduraLAB?

I came to the enduraLAB because I spent so much time in the gym on cardio, and I wanted to break through my routine and challenge myself with more strength-building exercises.

What was your first impression? How has that changed?

I had a great time getting accustomed to the barbell and learning the techniques, and I still love it!

First breakthrough moment?

When I had to get over my fear of jumping on the big box.

What are you working on now?

I want to be able to do pull ups without the band!

What’s your favorite enduraLAB memory?

I will never forget the 400M lunge/push press outside this summer and having to power through to get to the A/C faster!

Taylor Knapp is one of our October Members of the Month. His objective is to continue working on his lifts. He recently completed Project Pull Up. His favorite aspect of enduraLAB is the awesome community spirit.

What brought you to enduraLAB?

My wife and I were looking to for something we could do together and jump start us getting back in shape.

What was your first impression? How has that changed?

A gym with a great tight knit community, but a little intimidating. I came in with zero knowledge of the workouts, lifts, etc., so I felt like I had a long way to go. My impression of the community has not changed, but I'm no longer intimidated. The coaches and the members are right there with you and have done an amazing job of getting me to where I am now with a foundation I continue to work on.

What are you working on now?

Getting the technique down on some of the more technical lifts and finishing Project Pull Up.

What’s your favorite enduraLAB memory?

Hitting a 1:29 on 500m row. I struggle with high intensity cardio but ended up surprising myself in testing.
